MOROSS ART
ABOUT BARRY
Barry Moross enjoyed a storied and highly successful career as a creative film editor in the advertising industry. Upon retirement, trading his Avid editing system for a paintbrush, he embraced a lifelong passion he had never fully pursued -watercolor painting.
Though Barry always had a natural talent for drawing, his demanding career left little time for artistic endeavors. Retirement provided the perfect opportunity to delve into watercolors, dedicating at least six hours a day to painting.
His devotion to mastering the medium is evidenced by his commitment to learning from top-tier watercolor artists. Barry has taken workshops with renowned figures such as Tony Couch, Charles Reid, Alvaro Castagnet, and Mary Callahan. Additionally, he has participated in online workshops with Tim Wilmot, continuously refining his technique and expanding his artistic horizons.

Barry's artistic passion lies in painting landscapes and portraits. His ability to capture the essence of his subjects has garnered him numerous commissions, particularly for pet portraits and scenic landscapes.
